Remains of one second, a memory
3 wooden sculptures, paint and photographs printed on matt vinyl
2026
Memory Crash navigates the disorienting terrain of memory—where past and present collide, and the boundaries between mental and physical spaces dissolve. Within a personal exploration of how memory shapes perception, I aim to show my struggle to reconcile the overflow of mental images, questioning photography’s role in capturing what is ultimately unattainable.
The exhibition transforms the gallery into a landscape of overlapping temporalities. Photographic fragments, blown up and reimagined as sculptures, textiles, and mixed-media installations, transcend the static nature of album photography. All contributing to a dynamic, fleeting experience—mirroring the elusive act of remembering.
